Beyond Bridges: Balkans Photo Gallery

Though the summer 2013 Beyond Bridges: Balkans trip is our pilot year, we have extensive experience running educational programs in the Balkans as well as Israel and Palestine. In particular, we have run six consecutive summer programs in the Balkans through our partner organization, Abraham’s Vision, from summer 2006 through summer 2011. The photos below are from these previous trips (all of them taken in Bosnia-Herzegovina).

This is an updated photo of the National Library. In this shot you can no longer discern the damage from thewars of the 1990s. (Although up close you can.

to travel outside the captive city.

Students creating some shade during the day's long ceremonies. Though more than 15 years has passed
since the July 11 genocide, bodies continue to be identified and, most commonly on this particular day,
buried.
